I was in San Antonio over the summer and often ate at the TMAD location near me. I was so happy when I saw one in College Station when I got back for the semester. Food is great as usual. The only thing I would like to change is this: The other locations I have been to (Houston/San Antonio) both carry a Two-by-Two bowl that has even more protein portions than the Two Protein bowl, and I would order that every time. If this location could add that, it would be awesome :). Did not see it on the menu when I ordered from the app.

The food was good, the portions were very generous, and the staff was friendly and provided good service. I’d definitely eat here again, although it probably wouldn’t be an everyday go-to for me. If I was craving this style of food and in the mood for it, I’d absolutely come back. Overall, a solid meal and a good experience.

I love this place! I’ve been the past two nights & it’s been so good…I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and chicken pot stickers (the sauce that comes with them are soooo good). The employees who have taken my order over the phone were super nice as well!

The perfect bowl. My chicken breast teriyaki tasted fresh and was nicely grilled. The vegetables were the main star. You can tell they are cooked to order because they were al dente and not mushy. The customer service was excellent. I downloaded the app because I anticipate coming here a lot.

Alright, let’s break this down into specifics. I tried this new Teriyaki joint today, not too long after it opened. The ordering process was easy, but the food took some time to arrive. That is understandable given that they cook it fresh on order (I assume). We had ordered 2 double protein bowls (spicy steak + spicy chicken, salmon + orange chicken) to go, and the package seemed heavy. I will say that the quantity was quite satisfactory for the price. However, when we opened up the bowls to eat, we noticed that they had filled up the bowl with the base (fried rice or veggies) and given a small amount of protein. I mean we can get more protein at Chipotle for cheaper! There was only about half a chicken thigh’s worth of chicken, and similar amount of steak. The salmon and orange chicken were of similar amounts too. Secondly, the quality of the steak and salmon was questionable, even for the price. Pink salmon and gyro-thin steak at these prices? Really? I don’t even know what quality grade the chicken was. The food didn’t taste bad per se, but it was a bit bland (even for the spicy protein options).
